On june 14th, 2008... I went to see The Happening. I have always loved M. Night Shyamalan's movies, but they've also given me temporary irrational fears.
Because of The Village, I was scared of the woods.
Because of Lady in the Water, I was afraid of the grass.
Now... because of The Happening... I am afraid of plants. I am afraid to go outside. And I am afraid to breathe.
I enjoyed the movie, I thought it was good despite the bad reviews it's getting. Frankly, critics seem to despise Mr. Shyamalan. But never before in my life have I been so terrified that I've woken up several times in the middle of the night to the sound of me talking out loud to myself, saying "IT WASN'T REAL, THEY'RE STILL ALIVE, THEY'RE STILL ALIVE, IT'S NOT REAL." So... yeah. I'm kind of still in shock.
Anyway, the reason I haven't been on and that I'm not going to be on very often anymore (and I mean on the computer PERIOD) is because my mom, who works on the computer for my aunt, has taken over my room, because the computer is in here and she works all day. Sucktastic. That's all the news I've got for now, I'll edit on this journal later should anything come up.
